Caldeira has confirmed that it will exhibit at Heimtextil 2023 in Frankfurt, Germany from the 10th to 13th January 2023. The stand will be in Hall 12, E49.

Caldeira is one of the world’s leading cushion and decorative pillow companies, manufacturing and supplying innovative and competitive home textile products to retailers worldwide

The company already exports two thirds of its production, mostly to North America, Europe and Australia, and hopes to gain more export business for 2023 from the fair.

Business Development Manager Karen Donnelly is delighted that Caldeira will be going back to Frankfurt for the first time since the Co-Vid19 pandemic, saying.

“The Caldeira team is excited to be part of Heimtextil 2023, the world’s largest international home textiles fair. We are looking forward to meeting new and existing customers and presenting our latest beautiful collections of UK made cushions and decorative pillows to global home textiles retailers at the fair.”

Caldeira’s participation at Heimtextil 2023 has been kindly supported by the UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT). Judith Kyle, International Trade Adviser at the DIT, said.

“It’s a pleasure working with Caldeira Ltd and pleased that they can utilise the International Fund Grant for help with the costs attributed to exhibiting at Heimtextil.  They are a great example of British exports, and we look forward to continuing to work with them moving forward.”

Caldeira’s participation at Heimtextil 2023 is part of its latest export campaign and follows the opening of its new US showroom at Suite 1808, 230 5th Avenue, New York, in September 2022.

Caldera’s New Production Site

Caldeira, the UK’s leading cushion company, has acquired and developed a new headquarters on the Knowsley Industrial Park in Merseyside, in a £3m investment project.

The 85,000 sq. ft. factory on a three-acre site, at 29 Lees Road, will contain manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, office, and showroom facilities, and has replaced the company’s former rented premises.

The investment project has seen Caldeira already commit to installing over 1,000 solar panels on its roof which will have the capacity to generate around half a megawatt (500KW) of renewable solar energy.

The company is currently undertaking a feasibility study and is looking into the possibility of doubling its solar generation capacity to a megawatt (1MW).

The premises will also be the location of a new digital hub which will provide ultra-fast broadband to the Knowsley Industrial Park.
