As Xmas 2021 approached, the Spread Group decided to go with Brother as they ramped up production for the anticipated surge in demand.

The Spread Group first started using The Brother GTX600 direct to garment printers six months ago at their new 11,000 m2 facility at Legnica in Poland.

In the attached video you can have a look at how Brother printers have improved their production and listen to their CCDO Hanne Dinkel talking about Brother machines.

Last autumn they decided to invest in the GTX 600 DTG printer, which had only just been launched, and with a tight delivery and installation programme, all was in place well before the critical demand period.

Not only was production increased by the addition of new production nests, but perfect support from the technical staff at Brother, ensured that all orders were fulfilled.

About The Spread Group

Spreadshirt was founded in 2002 in Leipzig, Germany.

Today it is just one of many brands powering Spread Group – the world’s leader in on-demand printing of clothing and accessories.

The core of the Spread Group business model is based on the idea that we only print what the customer wants when they want it.

The Spread Group has continually pushed the boundaries of the on-demand printing market by investing in sustainable production approaches and empowering customers and businesses to express themselves on products they use, wear, and carry.

After Lukasz Gadowski built Spreadshirt’s first website in his university’s basement, he teamed up with engineer and fellow co-founder Matthias Spieß to get the start-up off the ground.

Nearly 20 years later, the Spread Group is home to multiple global brands, has factories and offices across the world, and employs over 1000 Spreadsters from more than 43 countries with annual revenues of over €169 million.
