The NirvanaBelt From Optimum Digital Uses A Single-Step Process To Deliver Water Saving And Inventory Waste Reduction For Istanbul Textile Printer

Optimum Digital are happy to announce another NirvanaBelt sale at Serkan Kumaş Örme Dokuma San. LTD STİ in Istanbul.
This new printing line is a single-step solution to directly printing onto a wide variety of fabrics, including naturals, synthetics and blends with a single ink set: Optimum Eco-Pigment Ink.
The key advantage according to Ünal, the manager of the print operations at Serkan Örme, is not having to treat or apply additional chemicals to the fabric.
Serkan, the owner, has long been looking to expand into natural fabrics, having only done polyester with his current dye-sublimation printers. “It does not make commercial sense for me to invest in a stenter or handle chemical waste-product in order to print on cotton. I have looked at pre-treated fabrics too but the results do not justify the price.”
Both these issues were address with the NirvanaBelt, with waterless printing that doesn’t require any additional chemical process.
It has also expanded his offering to elastic fabrics, where he is looking to into the women’s apparel segment, specifically printing on 100% cotton and viscose ‘Supreme’ fabrics.
“I am very happy to now be able to offer the color and touché that my customers require for women’s apparel on a single machine” he said.
The full line-up, from centring guide, to the printer and fixation unit, are manufactured 100% in Turkey, at Optimum’s factory.
Serkan comes from a textile family in Turkey and is proud to be the latest generation to be pushing the boundaries of textile manufacturing.
