The  IPIA  are very proud to announce that on Thursday 2nd December at the Crowne Plaza Stratford Upon Avon they will be holding the Recognising Excellence Expo, Gala Dinner and Awards night.

11.00  Expo And Business Networking Hub

The day will begin with the Recognising Excellence Expo, which will see print technology, media and service suppliers meet attendees to educate them about cutting-edge new products and services that could assist with helping them diversify and grow their businesses.

Importantly, they will be hosting special offers and fun activities for attendees to engage with.

With refreshments served throughout – central to the Expo will be the Business Networking Hub. In attendance will be print buyers, agencies, printers, trade houses and suppliers – so it will be a great chance to catch up and renew connections as well as spark brand new partnerships.

12.30 Fuel Stop

With a fuel stop to recharge, attendees will be able to enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch and continue making new connections in the Business Networking Hub at the heart of the Expo.

The saying that ‘people buy from people’ has always proven to be true from the many excellent networking events run by the IPIA, and getting to meet someone face to face is the best way to spark a new business relationship.

13.30 Chairman's Address

Following a short address to attendees from Association Chairman Graeme Smith – who will present on critical market trends and business growth opportunities – the Expo and Business Networking Hub will then remain open to 15:00.

15.30-16.30 IPIA Annual General Meeting

Every year the IPIA Membership gathers together to hear about the progress the Association has made, as well as key highlights from the last twelve months, before they vote for open positions on the IPIA Council.

19.00-21.00 Champagne Reception & Gala Dinner

Starting with a Champagne Reception and then followed by a taste-bud tantalising three-course meal, the Gala Dinner will be an evening of fun, laughter and entertainment.

With a guest keynote speaker during the Gala Dinner, there will also be the much celebrated and traditional IPIA Stand-up Bingo that will take place – which sees half the funds raised go to a charity of the winner’s choice.

21.00-22.00 Recognising Excellence Awards

The Recognising Excellence Awards for many years have celebrated the work of Association Members and are presented in the membership categories of Print Manager, Associate, Manufacturer and also the covered Personality of the Year Award.

22.00-Onwards : Live Entertainment - Hypersonix

An evening of energising entertainment will then follow the Gala Dinner – with live band Hypersonix taking over and fuelling the party late into the night.

Having toured the length and breadth of the UK to sell-out audiences, they will provide a night to remember.

The IPIA is well known for the high-quality of their conferences, business networking sessions and social events.

They are deeply committed to supporting their members and the UK print industry.

They pursue this commitment by helping businesses expand their horizons, grow using targeted collaboration, adapt to ever evolving market forces, and thrive through mutual support.

This is the key driving force behind the Recognising Excellence event.

After an incredibly challenging 2020-21– without the industry being able to come together for live events – this is also a chance to just unwind, have fun and connect with friends old and new.

About The IPIA

The Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA)  was formed in 1990 as a not-for-profit trade association focused on helping its members grow and develop their businesses.

Constantly evolving and adapting to contemporary market demands, it delivers ongoing value, support and counsel to members through a comprehensive range of benefits, services, events and publications.

In particular, the IPIA assumes a crucial role as an industry ambassador championing print, both at Government level and also to major print buying sectors such as marketing.

We are deeply committed to supporting our members and our industry.

We pursue this commitment by helping businesses expand their horizons, grow using targeted member collaboration, adapt to ever evolving market forces, and thrive through mutual support.

The value proposition of the IPIA is that its Executive and Council work hard to make sure every member is pushed to take advantage of all relevant core member benefits and then presented with the specific suite of opportunities to aid business growth appropriate to them they can pick and choose as it suits them.
