The Dutch digital printer API-4-BRANDS is the first customer in Europe, to invest in the new Durst dye-sublimation printer P5 TEX iSUB.

Raymond De Wild, owner API-4-BRANDS, highlights in the interview the smooth installation process with the machine.

“Only a few days after the installation production jobs run already without problems. Thanks to the integrated inline fixation iSUB, the P5 TEX iSUB gives a great saving in time. A job can now be completed in one hour (compared to 4 hours when using an external heat press) and delivered very quickly.”

About The P5 TEX iSUB

The P5 TEX iSUB is the dye-sublimation printer with an integrated inline fixation (iSUB) for a 1-step direct to fabrics printing process.

The Durst iSUB contactless fixing technology ensures excellent color consistency as well as extreme sharpness of detail in images and text, also blurring or bleeding of color is eliminated.

The new P5 TEX iSUB is setting a milestone in the field of sublimation printing. iSUB stands for "inline sublimation” and represents the integrated inline fixation for direct printing on polyester fabrics.

This unique feature eliminates individual work steps, resulting in a significant increase in quality and efficiency for the user.

A wide range of applications on polyester material can be implemented with the new dye sublimation printer, such as light box and decorative fabrics including difficult media as blackback and flags.

However, the printer is not limited to direct printing, but transfer papers can also be printed and further processed in the usual way.
