AVA Cad/Cam are delighted to share with you that their AVA CAD Specialist Training course has officially been approved by not just one, but two external organisations.

We have been long-standing Associate members of the IGI Global Wall Coverings Association, but this year, after independently reviewing the content, they agreed to approve our training course.

The organisation was founded in 1950 with Headquarters in Belgium. It has 46 members and 31 Associate members, which represent the main players of the wall coverings sector and is a world-wide not-for-profit organisation.

IGI is recognised as a valuable, comprehensive and authoritative source on the wall coverings industry.

Géraldine de Limelette says “IGI – the Global Wallcoverings association is proud to endorse the AVA CAD Specialist Training courses where designers will be able gain and develop knowledge on industry processes. Proactively educating and preparing the next generation of wallcoverings designers is key for our industry.”

The Textile Institute is a registered charity with a Royal Charter which was set up in Manchester in 1910 and has 199 members worldwide.

Our training course was independently adjudicated by two judges from within the textile industry and we are so pleased and excited that the content met the high standards expected.

“Courses Approved by The Textile Institute go through a rigorous assessment process to guarantee the appropriateness of content, ensuring that those undertaking the training will be fully equipped to utilise what they have learned in industry. The Textile Institute is delighted to have awarded AVA CAD/CAM Approved course status.” – Rebecca Price, Textile Institute.

The AVA CST course has been running for over 20 years and has seen many changes over the years, having transformed into a 5 day online course.

Each day consists of four hours live online training with one of our specialists, and four hours assisted practice time.

All graduates receive a certificate of completion along with a free three month loan of the AVA software’s core modules of Create & Repeat, Quick Separations, Colour and Texture Mapping.

Both IGI and the TI are well respected within our industry and we are proud and excited that the AVA CST qualification is now recognised by these two influential organisations.

We believe this will add to the value of the AVA CST qualification and will help graduates get their foot into the door of the industry when looking for employment.
