swissQprint Expands Generation 5 Line-Up With Two New Flatbed Printers For Medium-Volume Production
Kriessern Switzerland : September 2025 Swiss printing technology manufacturer swissQprint has announced the launch of two new flatbed printer models, Topi 5 and Oryx 5, completing its acclaimed Generation 5 line-up that debuted in January 2025.
The new models are specifically designed for users requiring premium quality output with small to medium production volumes.
Both printers are now available and offer distinct capabilities tailored to different operational needs. The Topi 5 features a 3.2×2 metre flatbed configuration capable of producing up to 126 m²/h, whilst the Oryx 5 provides a 2.5 metre width with output capacity reaching 114 m²/h – representing a 26 percent improvement over its predecessor, the Oryx 4 model.
The new models maintain swissQprint's commitment to versatility and precision, incorporating roll-to-roll options alongside their flatbed capabilities.
Both printers feature the company's signature 10 freely configurable colour channels, enabling maximum flexibility through the use of speciality inks including neon, orange, varnish, or primer applications.
"With the new, harmonised overall range, we have a tailor-made solution for every size of business, with Oryx and Topi being aimed at users with high quality standards and small to medium print volumes," said Carmen Eicher, Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer at swissQprint. For higher-volume requirements, the manufacturer continues to offer its Impala, Nyala, and Kudu flatbed models, which deliver outputs up to 341 m²/h.
The Generation 5 platform represents a complete technological foundation rebuild, incorporating state-of-the-art linear drives that deliver enhanced precision and speed capabilities.
All models achieve maximum resolution of 1350 dpi whilst maintaining the modular expandability that has become synonymous with swissQprint's approach to industrial printing solutions.
The company's commitment to long-term reliability continues with these new models, backed by a comprehensive 36-month factory warranty across all configurations.
This warranty coverage reflects swissQprint's confidence in delivering machines with operational lifespans exceeding a decade whilst maintaining consistent performance standards.
