The system's proprietary Cut-on-the-Fly technology reads, compensates and cuts simultaneously, allowing material to keep moving at speeds of up to 1 metre per second.

Sustainability is built into the design. The L Series uses a 20,000-hour metal-sealed CO₂ laser that performs for up to eight years in standard operation, with no consumable blades to replace.
