In a recent  McKinsey and Sourcing Journal Survey the Global Sportswear market was valued at US$ 300.35 billion in 2017, with expected growth by CAGR 5.80% between 2018 and 2023

The 2019 Fespa Print census revealed that 80% of textile printers are active in sports apparel and that Faster production speeds drive investment for 69% of textile print businesses.

On the market,  respondents said that mass customisation is a key customer requirement,  while 72% say customer demand for fast turnaround is increasing and 76% say demand for environmentally sustainable products is influencing business strategy.
