Shelton Vision to Showcase Groundbreaking AI Fabric Inspection Technology at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025
Leicester, UK – October 2025 – Shelton Vision, a UK-based leader in machine vision technology, will showcase its latest advancements in AI and deep learning for fabric inspection at the ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 exhibition in Singapore.
The event, running from October 28-31, will see Shelton Vision demonstrate technology capable of achieving over 98% defect detection and up to 100% classification accuracy, setting a new standard for quality control in textile manufacturing.
As part of the 20-strong British Textile Machinery Association (BTMA) delegation, Shelton Vision will highlight how these advanced disciplines are transforming the industry.
The company's technology represents a significant breakthrough, enabling the detection and classification of even the smallest faults in plain or patterned fabrics moving at industrial speeds.
This innovation is designed to help manufacturers drastically reduce waste, boost efficiency, and improve overall product quality.
During the exhibition, Shelton Vision will feature its stand-alone AI Classifier, a versatile component that can be integrated with existing third-party inspection systems.
This eliminates the need for subjective manual decisions, vastly increasing the efficiency and throughput of the review process.
The company will also demonstrate its optimised cut-plan capability, which utilises the automated classifier's output to form a key part of the system's return on investment.
