SDL Atlas Launches Upgraded Scorch/Sublimation Tester for Enhanced Fabric Testing

SDL Atlas has announced the release of its newly upgraded Scorch/Sublimation Tester, an instrument engineered for greater accuracy, efficiency, and operator safety in evaluating fabrics under heat and pressure.

The tester is designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern textile laboratories by providing consistent and reliable results.

The instrument precisely measures key fabric properties, including ironing colour fastness, dimensional stability under dry heat, and sublimation fastness.

A standout feature is its uniquely engineered lower hotplate system, which applies pressure via a precision load cell.

This innovative design ensures that pressure can be precisely adjusted to meet specific test standards through an intuitive touch-screen interface, rather than relying on the weight of the upper plate.

This also enables a single instrument to perform both large and small plate tests with ease.

Key upgrades to the Scorch/Sublimation Tester include pre-loaded international and domestic test methods with multi-language support, an insulated shell for enhanced operator safety against heat exposure, and improved temperature and timing systems for higher precision.

The flexible configuration allows for a standard large plate with an optional small plate for testing special samples.

The instrument is fully compliant with AATCC 92/114 and BS1006 UK-LA standards.

The upgraded SDL Atlas Scorch/Sublimation Tester is now available for order worldwide, reinforcing the company's commitment to providing the textile industry with advanced, reliable testing solutions.
