Turkish Denim Mill Boosts Efficiency and Sustainability with SDL Atlas QuickWash Plus® Accelerated Washing System

Orta Denim Mill in Kayseri, Turkey recently added a QuickWash Plus Accelerated Washing System to their Sanforizing line to optimize and accelerate the measurement of residual shrinkage.
This compact, robust tabletop instrument washes and dries fabric in an accelerated test, minimizing the washing time required in traditional washing.
A standout feature of the QuickWash Plus is its ability to conduct tests with small sample pieces, drastically reducing fabric waste.
Rather than using over 1 meter of fabric for each verification, manufacturers can achieve accurate testing results with just a small sample, promoting sustainability in textile production.
In Addition To Saving Fabric, The Quickwash Plus Also Prioritizes Water Conservation.
The machine completes the multiple wash and dry process using only 12-13 liters of water; A stark contrast to the approximately 400 liters typically consumed in traditional 3 home launderings post-sanforizing.
This efficient use of resources not only lowers operational costs but also aligns with global sustainability goals.
