Zanzibar Production is a company specializing in event and sports textiles, and more particularly in the world of nautical sports.

To support its development, Zanzibar has chosen to equip itself with the new HP Stitch S500 printer.

The company, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is based in the Basque Country.

It is headed by Antoine Maury who has bet to integrate the transformation of his products in France. Printing and confection are thus carried out mainly in its Anglet factory.

“Our activity is divided into two trades: subcontracting and distribution. For the first, we act as a service provider for a large number of sporting events such as the Paddle Nautique Expo, Cirque du Soleil, Golf Week, the Pyrenees Derby and many other textile brands. For distribution, we create customizable collections in short circuit around the cartography mainly intended for the retail market. We guarantee optimal responsiveness to our customers thanks to our production tool located in France. Our style office intervenes from the design. He develops personalized collections through the Hop & Down brand and limited edition accessories. "

The finishing processes in the textile sector remain complex to master and Antoine Maury insists on the need for advanced equipment:

All this requires heavy equipment. I was looking for more versatile, more flexible and more productive equipment. I wanted to switch from a still artisanal way of working, to a semi-industrial mode.

Zanzibar Production therefore invested in the new HP Stitch S500 textile printer and dedicated it to polyester printing and high-volume production (printing on both transfer paper and direct on fabric).

"On-demand production and personalization continue to stimulate the growth of digital printing in the design and fashion sectors,"

said Hind Guilleminot, Head of Large Format Marketing, France. According to Smithers, the digitally printed textiles market, which is currently experiencing double-digit annual growth, is expected to reach $ 5.5 billion by 2023. The new HP Stitch S range meets our customers' new expectations and revolutionizes the digital textile printing sector. With these new references, HP is reinventing creative processes and is targeting in particular the sportswear and interior design markets. "
