The new website shows R A Smart’s knowledge and experience spanning decades (their management team alone has over a 100 year’s combined experience in printed textiles) it shows how Smart’s can offer a full ‘turn-key’ solution not only for your textile digital printer requirements but also any pre or post textile process including coating systems, heat press technology, steaming and washing lines etc.

Smart’s website shows that they  have solutions at every level of productivity requirement from entry level short run/sampling systems to industrial state of the art high productivity machines capable of meeting the most demanding of production environments.

Based in the silk town of Macclesfield, R A Smart have a long and rich heritage in printed textiles not only as a supplier of specialist textile printing equipment for nearly 40 years but as a commission screen maker, printer and weaver going back to the 1970’s when R A Smart was established.

R A Smart (CAD & Machinery) was originally established as a bespoke manufacturer and supply of specialist short run textile printing equipment and auxiliary equipment, supplying commercial printers, design studios and educational establishments all over the world as well as throughout the UK.

R A Smart have been at the forefront of digital textile technology since the early pioneering days of the late 1990’s and can rightly claim to be experts in the supply and support of dedicated textile digital print solutions, partnering with the leading machine manufacturers we have a large and varied customer base throughout the UK.

Covering a vast array of applications including fashion/furnishing/sportswear/household textiles and soft signage they are in a unique position to advise and guide their customers through the various machine solutions, ink chemistries and processes required for any textile application.
