Premier Textiles Bolsters Team With Strategic Hires

STOCKPORT – 5 June 2024 – Premier Textiles, the independent family-owned group, proudly announces the addition of three pivotal new members to its expanding team: John Burgess as Import Logistics Coordinator, Alexina Willers as Accounts Office Supervisor, and Mike Haworth-Hodgkinson as Finance Assistant.

Founded in 1981, Premier Textiles has grown to encompass more than 50,000 sq ft of state-of-the-art warehousing facilities in Stockport and Bury.

The group’s portfolio also includes Premier Digital Textiles, Bancroft Soft Furnishings, and Premex Solutions, which extended its reach last year with a new 10,000 sq ft warehouse in Atlanta, catering to the burgeoning digital print-ready fabric market in North America.

Mike Haworth-Hodgkinson, undertaking a career shift into finance, added, “It’s been a real joy to join Premier Textiles. Taking on the role of Finance Assistant was part of a complete career change for me, and both my colleagues and senior team have been extremely supportive and welcoming.
