Stockport : February 4th 2022 : Whilst working towards a more sustainable economy, Premier Digital Textiles are launching a Recycled Cotton fabric which will be included in their Essentials Range.

A collection of 31 NEW textiles substrates for Digital Textile Printing.

The Essentials Collection includes luxury natural fabrics, organic cottons and recycled polyesters.

Premier Digital Textiles are conscious of the mark that we leave on our planet and their latest innovations are heavily focused on the current market push for a more sustainable world.

Recycled Cotton Fabrics

Recycled cotton fabrics are made from yarns spun from fibres recovered from textile waste, such as discarded garments and home furnishings.

Using recycled cotton reduces the consumption of virgin fibres, thereby reducing water and chemicals used in production, as well as CO2  emissions, and other negative impacts on our planet caused by cotton farming.

Recycling Cotton promotes the circular economy by diverting waste currently going into landfill.

Sustainability is at the heart of the Premier Digital Textile supply chain.

As a business partner Premier Digital Textiles are committed to providing responsibly sourced, ethical fabrics for commercial use wherever possible.

Premier Digital Textiles are helping to create a more sustainable world, and they work closely with their mills and suppliers, to provide eco-conscious certified cotton and recycled polyester alternatives.

Premier Digital Textiles support and supply Sustainable textiles with a reduced carbon footprint, prepared using less water than conventional textiles and with reduced or no use of pesticides and growing agents.

Premier Digital Textiles now also offer an expanded selection of re-cycled polyester print bases.

Organic Textiles

As practitioners in the Textile and Fashion supply chains we all have a part to play in reducing the pollution of the past.

Premier Digital Textiles not only lead the market in Textile innovations, but also strive to do so ethically, and with less damage to our environment for a sustainable future.

One way in which they are tackling climate change is through their Organic Textile range.

Organic Textiles, by definition; are fabrics made from fibres which originate from crops which have been responsibly grown without pesticides or growing agents.

The way in which Organic Textiles are cultivated has a big impact on the environment. Farmers are regulated and must use natural growth methods such as composting, to grow their crops and, in doing so, create a healthier soil by reducing the need for irrigation and so retaining water and nutrients for sustained growth.

Premier Digital Textiles are proud to offer a range of fabrics woven using cotton sourced under the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI).

The BCI brings together the cotton community and helps develop Better Cotton as a mainstream commodity.

It is a global approach that helps farmers to grow cotton in a way that reduces stress in the local environment and improves the livelihoods and welfare of farming communities allowing for the development of a more sustainable commodity.

Premier Digital Textiles are a platform member for BCI.
