Phoenox Look Forward To Commissioning Their New £2m Zimmer Digital Print Line By April 2021

Work is progressing on the new £2m Zimmer Chromojet 800, 2000 Print Line with the installation team now on site and hard at work.
With the groundworks now complete the installation team have arrived from Austria to start the process of installing the mammoth machine with an expected date for completion of April 2021.
The new print line will give Pheonox 4x their normal print output allowing them to reach and service new markets including contract and hospitality work.
The improved print and colours produced by this state of the art machine will allow us to bring further products to market using creative print.
The CHROMOJET family of digital printing systems is suitable for all kinds of pile products in a range of 300 up to 1,500 g/sqm.
The printing machine is usually equipped with 8 to 16 individual colors. Special machines may have up to 48 colors.
For printing, these colors are pressurized (1-3 bar) and supplied directly to the jets, which are electromagnetically opened and closed up to 1,200 times per second.
The jets inject the dye with surgical precision deep into the face of the pile, without any machine parts touching the fabric surface.
