The release also expands OneVision's Variable Data Printing capabilities, simplifying personalised print production and improving compatibility with modern workflows.
VDP processing now supports direct export to PDF 1.7, and the VDP Template Editor has been extended to accept JSON as an input format.
These enhancements make template creation more flexible and enable more efficient production of variable print jobs.
Workflow transparency has also been significantly improved in version 26.2. Workspace now features configurable warning and critical indicators that highlight time-sensitive jobs, alongside user-defined time-series data for customised production monitoring.
Additional enhancements include richer CSV job ticket metadata, temporarily deactivatable assemblyline connections for workflow testing, and extended AI Queries configuration options.
Beyond these headline features, version 26.2 delivers a wide range of improvements across the Normalize and Amendo AI product families.
Normalize benefits from more flexible scaling options, optimised colour management, and enhanced cutting and nesting functionality.
Amendo AI sees improvements in image processing and metadata handling, including enhanced AI Upscale capabilities and more flexible image merging.
