Camilla Says

I am a Fashion designer and illustrator based in Lima, Peru.

I focus on the creation of fashion collections, including design, development, and final production.

I use my mastery of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to provide a critical, innovative, and creative approach to my design process.

I Chose Bioluminescence To Emphasise My Work

Bioluminescence is a light phenomenon in various species of marine flora and fauna. It is “an energy-producing chemical reaction within the body of a living organism.

This is an important communication system in the deep sea.

Bioluminescent fish are marine organisms that have the ability to emit bioluminescence. This SS/23 womenswear collection explores my curiosity for this kind of fish, its morphology, textures, habitat, and the importance of experimentation and innovation in order to create sustainable fabrics and garments.
