Landor Phototex Digitally Printed Murals Decorate Iconic Manchester Landmarks

First of all an impressive mural, designed by Kirsty MacDiarmid and printed on Landor Phototex, has been installed by Eastern Exibition & Display at the Imperial War Museum North.
The mural heralded an exhibition of Ukraine War Photography called Ukraine: Photographs from the Frontline which opened in late October and continues until the end of January 2023.
Ukraine: Photographs from the Frontline presents photographs from internationally renowned photojournalist Anastasia Taylor-Lind. Made during her time in Ukraine between 2014 and June 2022, these powerful works - displayed publicly in a UK exhibition for the first time – document the devastating reality of living amidst conflict.
Phototex was chosen as a directive from the Imperial War Museum in Manchester after successful testing.
Landor provided short length sample rolls of Water Based and Water Based Opaque and IWM opted for the opaque so they could overlap the panels to give a seamless effect.
Then, there was an installation at The Manchester United Academy at Carrington, the famous training milieu of generations of United stars from Brian Robson to Wayne Rooney, which was a huge project where the corridors had large floor to ceiling designs.
Designed by Conrad Davies, who has been producing vibrant heart thumping passionate imagery within the stadium of one of Europes biggest football clubs for over 20 years and in the last 2 years has discovered Landor Phototex self adhesive fabric.
