In a spectacular presentation, Kornit Digital invited Texintel  CEO Debbie Mckeegan to walk around their Textile Micro-Factory and see it operating in a Virtual Reality simulation.

The Virtual Reality presentation was viewed through VR glasses and showed the progression of a Textile Micro-Factory that started with Kornit’s newly launched Presto Roll to Roll printer.

In the simulation fabric , was printed using the new Kornit Robusto inks In a variety of nested patterns, and then presented to a Zund automatic cutting machine where the individual fabric marker were cut prior to sewing.

Using VR the viewer  could walk around the micro-factory and view the operations from many angles, much as would be possible as if the viewer was in the micro-factory themselves.

Describing the experience as exhilarating, Debbie went on to say that the impressive experience had such a realistic feel to it, that it showed how far VR had gone along the road to creating a virtual production experience.
