Inedit Software Help Portuguese Digital Textile Manufacturer To Print Exactly The Same Results On Two Different EFI Reggiani Printers

Gulbena Texteis contacted Inèdit Software’s technical department when it acquired a new EFI Reggiani Hyper printer for its production and wanted to match it with its EFI Reggiani Renoir, which it would now use for samples.

Inedit’s technician Marc Gómez, visited them, analyzed the printers and prepared a complete 5-day process in which he would calibrate all their printers and match the two machines previously announced.

The Solution

Inedit visited Gulbena Texteis and analyzed their workflow situation.

Inedit decided to proceed with the following steps:

Situation analysis: Our technician travels to the customer’s premises and analyzes the situation of the printers and the available equipment. He updates the neoStampa versions and prepares a 5-day work plan together with the project manager in Gulbena.

Printer calibration: To start with, we calibrate the printers with neoStampa Delta and Calibration Wizard. We follow the step by step and improve the color according to the ICC profile of each of the machines.

Matching between both printers: Once the machines are calibrated, we compare both profiles and from different linearizations, we proceed to create a new profile that matches both printers’ colors. We succeeded in matching colors.

Training: Finally, we dedicate a day to form our customers in re-profiling and execution of consistency tests so that they can always maintain the results over time.
