Wide-Width HP Latex 3600 Machines Feature Strongly As Bannerkönig Expands Its Production Capacities In Gelsenkirchen

As part of its move to its new location in Gelsenkirchen, the online print shop Bannerkönig invested a seven-figure sum in digital print machinery.
Bannerkönig has been able to record steady growth in recent years – even during the Corona crisis.
Bannerkönig took a big step in this direction when the company moved to a new, larger location in Gelsenkirchen this year and invested in, amongst others, a substantial HP 3600 wide width installation.
The declared goal of founder and managing director Serkan Günes, who runs the company together with his brother Selcuk Günes, is to drive this expansion even further in the coming years.
The current company building comprises a production hall three times as large as at the old location and HP's Latex 3600 printers are a major part of Bannerkönig's extended machine park.
Bannerkönig used the additional production space for the commissioning of new machines: The company invested a seven-figure sum to expand its machinery and thus double its previous production capacities.
The new additions among the machines include:
1. 2 HP Latex 3600 printers
2. 2 Epson Surecolor 80600L solvent printers
3. 1 Canon Arizona 1360 XTF flatbed printer
4. 1 G3-3XL cutting table from Zünd
In addition to the technical equipment, the Günes brothers are also pleased about an increase in personnel in the company:
In the first nine months of this year alone, Bannerkönig created ten new jobs in order to be able to exploit the new production capacities.
However, the focus for the coming months is not only on increasing throughput – the print shop's product range is also to continue to grow. In addition to banners, the portfolio currently includes printed flags, foils, panels and various display systems.
While the eponymous banners are traditionally the core business and will remain so, new types of print items are to be added in order to be able to offer customers even more comprehensive solutions from a single source.
