Ludlow, Shropshire, UK, October 2022 – GoCustom Clothing has announced the acquisition of the Imprinted brand and associated assets from 5 Digital Ltd to further strengthen its print-on-demand services.

Both GoCustom and Imprinted have achieved growth in the print-on-demand market over the last year.

GoCustom has over 25 years of printing experience, Imprinted’s clients will be able to benefit from this expertise.

With products printed only when sold to end users, this is amongst the most sustainable ways for businesses to sell their creations.

“We have seen significant growth of print-on-demand clients for several months, bringing Imprinted under the GoCustom brand allows us to scale up our operation to meet the increasing demand,” says Angus Mitchell, Managing Director, GoCustom Clothing. “Combining our existing solution with the products and services from Imprinted will enhance the offer available to new and existing clients.”

The Imprinted brand will be consolidated into the GoCustom Clothing Dropshipping Print-on-demand business with immediate effect.

DTG Technology

As their e-commerce business grew and orders became more diverse, GoCustom Clothing determined it was best to add digital DTG production capabilities, which could accommodate both orders of 1,000-plus pieces and single pieces.

GoCustom originally invested in a Kornit Storm system for on-demand production, before upgrading to a Kornit Avalanche HD6 for increased capacity.

Kornit Avalanche HD6 can digitally produce numerous apparel types without considerable setup time.

Pallets can be changed quickly to handle different sizes and applications, versus the costly and time-consuming processes associated with screen printing operations.
