FUJIFILM Partners With Epson For Distribution Of The SureColor R5000 Resin Ink Large Format Printer In Oceania
The 64-inch Epson SureColor R5000 offers accurate and consistent output with better colour and support for a wider variety of substrates.
SYDNEY, September 2021 : FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia has expanded its signage printer line up to include the Epson SureColor R5000 and R5000L (Large Ink Capacity) resin ink series.
Complementing their existing Epson range of eco-solvent wide format printers and resin-based industrial label presses – the SureColor R5000 offers print service providers and creative design agencies the ability to produce a wide range of signage and display products.
The Epson SureColor R5000 range is now available to purchase with 5 full years’ service and support at an additional cost, from FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia.
The SureColor R5000 uses Epson’s latest Resin ink technology.
Designed to compete against Latex printers, it features an aqueous (water-based) construction with a formulation that meets the highest ecological and OH&S certifications while offering enhanced scratch resistance and a lower curing temperature which results in reduced power consumption and compatibility with an enhanced range of media including delicate films and fabrics.
The SureColor Resin 5000 is designed to suit a wide range of applications including durable indoor/outdoor signage, banners, wall coverings, decals, film, and custom fabric.
“As a trusted platinum premium partner of Epson’s, we are thrilled to be able offer the SureColor R5000 to our customers. With the demand for outdoor and indoor signage having shown significant growth over the last 18 months, we are seeing a lot of printers looking to enter new markets with new print offerings. The SureColor Resin 5000 is a great platform to enable that growth due it’s superior quality, flexibility, productivity and reliability.” – Chris Lynch, General Manager of Graphic Communication Services at FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia says.
Capable of reaching production speeds of up to 27m2/hr without sacrificing on quality, thanks to the dual PrecisionCore Micro TFP printheads and Epson Precision Dot Technology, the printer delivers exceptional print performance and colour control.
Precision media tracking and temperature control ensures colour, image sizing and positioning is consistent from edge to edge, top to bottom, and print to print.
Long-life PrecisionCore Micro TFP printheads support variable sized dots with a smaller minimum drop size for an enhanced gamut and finer gradation.
