Fujifilm North America Launches The Revolutionary ACUITY TR™ Printer with Breakthrough AQUAFUZE™ Ink Technology
Hanover Park, Illinois - October, 2025 – FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Business Innovation Division, today announced the U.S. launch of the ACUITY TR™, a revolutionary 1.6-meter roll-fed printer that establishes a new benchmark for wide format printing applications.
The innovative system features Fujifilm's proprietary AQUAFUZE™ water-based UV ink technology, delivering exceptional print quality whilst addressing growing industry demands for sustainable, versatile printing solutions.
The ACUITY TR represents a significant advancement in inkjet printing technology, combining the benefits of water-based and UV ink systems to eliminate common production challenges.
The groundbreaking AQUAFUZE inkjet technology reduces printhead nozzle clogging, improves ink ejection reliability, and eliminates the need for primers, optimisers, or topcoats across diverse substrates.

The AQUAFUZE ink system addresses critical industry challenges including the growing demand for high durability and stretchability in applications requiring bending and further processing.
The technology also prioritises safety by minimising solvent emissions and reducing printing odours, creating safer work environments whilst maintaining premium output quality.
Key technical specifications include high-speed output of up to 185.2 ft²/hr with resolutions reaching 1200 x 2400 dpi.
The system incorporates energy-efficient UV LED curing technology and features adjustable head heights with multi-level pinch rollers for seamless handling of diverse media types during extended print runs up to 150 metres.
The printer has achieved UL GREENGUARD Gold certification for its low-odour, environmentally conscious ink formulation, reinforcing Fujifilm's commitment to sustainable printing solutions. Enhanced workflow efficiency is supported through integrated VerteLith™ Genuine RIP software.
