FaberExposize UK & Northern Flags Expand Their Rigid Substrate Production With New Swiss Zünd G3 Cutter Investment

FaberExposize UK and sister company Northern Flags are expanding their rigid substrate production with the purchase of a brand-new Zünd G3 flatbed cutter.
With the ability to process materials up to a thickness of 110 mm/4.3 in, the high-precision machine will aid FaberExposize UK in meeting the growing demand for rigid substrates such as Correx, Foamex and ACM panels.
Earlier this year, the factory acquired Agfa’s Jeti Tauro H3300 which is its fastest and largest UV printer with an output of up to 453m²/h.
This means that FaberExposize UK and Northern Flags can continue to specialise in ‘just-in-time’ production of UV rigid and roll to roll products.
Iain Clasper-Cotte, Managing Director of FaberExposize UK said of the investment: “The installation of the Jeti Tauro this year significantly sped up our print output and we quickly realised that our factory would benefit from a second Zünd machine entirely dedicated to cutting rigid materials. We’re well-known across the country for the quality of our fabric print so we want to show our clients that we’re just as skilled when it comes to rigid media production.”
