Epson Achieves EcoVadis Platinum Rating for Sustainability for Second Consecutive Year

London 19th March 2026 – Epson has been awarded the Platinum rating for sustainability by EcoVadis, one of the world’s most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings, for the second consecutive year.

This recognition places the technology leader in the top one per cent of more than 130,000 companies assessed globally, underscoring its authoritative and forward-thinking approach to environmental, social, and governance criteria.

In its most recent assessment, the organisation achieved an overall score of 84 out of 100, positioning it in the 99th percentile of all evaluated entities.

The comprehensive evaluation highlights Epson's robust performance across four critical areas, scoring 91 in environment, 89 in labour and human rights, 77 in sustainable procurement, and 72 in ethics.

EcoVadis ratings deliver an independent assessment of sustainability management systems, helping organisations demonstrate ethical and responsible business practices throughout their global supply chains.

Takanori Inaho, President of Epson Europe, said, “Achieving EcoVadis Platinum status once again is a significant recognition of Epson’s long-standing commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. Sustainability is embedded in our corporate philosophy and guides how we design products, operate our business, and engage with our partners and customers.”

Operating with a sense of urgency to address global climate challenges, Epson has successfully transitioned to 100 per cent renewable electricity at its worldwide sites, significantly curtailing operational emissions.

Furthermore, the company collaborates closely with suppliers to fortify responsible sourcing and continues to champion social responsibility by promoting diversity, inclusion, and stringent human rights policies across all operations.
