Ecuador Digital Printer Efatex Uses Cibitex easyLINE Equipment For Pandemic Flexibility

Efatex is a company founded in 2009 in Ecuador, and has gone from being a garment retailer to a fabrics producer.
For this reason, in 2019 the company decided to purchase the easyLINE units to serve their printer and complete the digital textile process.

But at the beginning of 2020, with the development of the pandemic, they had to stop the digital printing production.

Thanks to the Cibitex easyLINE, the company turned quickly from fashion and accessories into protective suits and facemasks producer, using the easyCOAT/DRY to apply waterproof coatings on different fabrics.

When Cibitex designed the easyCOAT/DRY they did not expect to have to live through a pandemic.

But even in times of emergency, the multifunctionality of this machine surprised them: with easyCOAT/DRY it is in fact possible to apply water-repellent and antibacterial products on different types of fabric.

In addition to the well-known features as pre-treatment and fixation processes necessary for reactive, acid and pigment digital printing, they now underline the post-treatment purposes of this unit.

The printed fabric, whether natural, artificial or synthetic, is treated with specific chemical products through impregnation and subsequent polymerization to create a safe product without sacrificing aesthetics.

Thus products can be created such as desk dividers, protective and sound absorbing barriers with graphic effects, necessary for those who have to reorganize their working spaces, or printed fabric facemasks.
