Innovative Drytac Solutions Supports Downtown Dallas Beautification Project From DTX Wraps
Richmond, VA - 17 March 2026 – Dallas-based print and installation specialist DTX Wrapshas partnered with Downtown Dallas Inc. (DDI) and local artists to deliver durable, large-scale public murals.
The initiative is part of an ongoing beautification programme led by DDI, a privatised organisation focused on enhancing the downtown Dallas district.
Recognising the urgent need to foster ethical, engaging, and enduring public spaces, DTX Wraps was tasked with producing and installing graphics that elevate the urban environment while withstanding the rigours of high-traffic areas.
To achieve this standard of excellence, DTX Wraps printed the graphics in-house using an Epson SureColor S80600L printer, ensuring accurate reproduction of the artists’ work with strong colour vibrancy.
For the base media, the team selected Polar Grip Air from Drytac.
This innovative polymeric vinyl features an aggressive permanent high coat weight adhesive that bonds reliably to challenging surfaces, alongside air release technology for efficient, bubble-free application.

To guarantee long-term durability and protect the integrity of the artwork against vandalism, the printed graphics were paired with Drytac’s Interlam Pro Anti-Graffiti laminate.
This responsible approach to public art ensures the murals remain pristine, reducing material waste and replacement costs over time.
There were no production or installation challenges, and the successful application has inspired DDI to continue expanding the beautification project throughout the city.
