Digitally Printed DESCOR® PREMIUM Textile Panels By PONGS® Gives Jungle Flair And Monument Protection To Stuttgart Zoo

Wilhelma in Stuttgart is one of the most visited zoological gardens in Germany.
At the back of the Wilhelma Theater is a Marché Mövenpick’s Amazonica, one of the zoo’s restaurants.
It is directly adjacent to the theater’s landmarked facade, in which three high round arches provide space for soundproofing structures.
Due to the protection of historic monuments, the substructure could not be screwed together, but was pressed into the niches with pressure stamps.
Acoustic wall panels were installed in one of the restaurants at the Wilhelma Zoo in Stuttgart.
The special thing about it: the panels found space in the round arches of a listed building facade.
No problem for DESCOR®.
First, the substructure was mounted with pressure stamps.
After the frames were filled with acoustic fleece and sealed with swelling tape, the fitters attached our DESCOR® AP universal profile.
DESCOR® PREMIUM textile from PONGS® was installed in this, processed with environmental friendly latex printing.
The individual motif picks up the jungle flair of the restaurant.
