ColorJet India Launch Their Vulcan Prime UV Digital Textile Printer For The Signage And Interior Décor Industries
ColorJet India has launched a 1.6m UV roll-to-roll printer Vulcan Prime for the signage and interior décor industry.
It can print at a resolution of 2400dpi and its UV curing technology ensures immediate drying, saving up to 90% of the production time, according to ColorJet.
Vulcan Prime offers Camouflage printing technology.
Developed with the combination of ColorJet’s UV printing machines, industrial-grade advanced printhead technology, UV curable inks, special ICC profiles and unique printer controller software, Camouflage technology enables three, four and five-layer back-to-back printing.
Three-layer printing helps in achieving the same visual effect both on front-lit and backlit without any color loss.
Four-layer printing offers dual color/day night effect printing.
Different versions of the same print printed on backlit media can be seen under the influence of backlit LED light.
Five-layer printing enables printing different images on the same transparent media visible differently from both sides for applications such as window graphics.
Vulcan Prime’s 3D structure formation will help users to achieve raised embossing and textured effects for wallpaper applications.
The machine also comes with the benefits of anti-blockage white head system. This technology helps to avoid the precipitation of ink and maintains the white intensity.
Vulcan Prime’s angular UV curing technology offers smooth gradient transition on transparent and opaque media. Its variable pressure vacuum bed provides freedom to print on a range of substrates, especially on fabrics.
The company reported that its prints are crack, resistant and scrub resistant and are washable.
It supports a variety of flexible media including backlit fabric, ceiling film, vinyl, wallpaper, advertising banners and PET.
Embedded with the UV LED curing process, it makes printing more economical and ecological.
