Claire Taylforth Appointed Operations Director at FaberExposize UK

On the 9th Anniversary of joining Northern Flags Ltd, Claire Taylforth has been promoted to Operations Director of FaberExposize UK.
Claire has been an essential member of the Management team since joining the company as Marketing Manager in 2014.
Of the appointment Iain Clasper, Managing Director, said: “Since Claire joined us, she has always been able to contribute way beyond whatever job title she had. Claire played an essential role in helping me transform Northern Flags from one the UK’s leading custom flag specialists into one of the UK’s leading wide format display printers working with many major international brands and leading sports and entertainment events and winning lots of awards in the process.”
Of her appointment, Claire commented: “I have loved the way at FaberExposize UK I have been given the opportunity to grow my career in the same way we do for all our team. When I joined, I really did not anticipate such a rapid change from running email campaigns and marketing initiatives to being responsible for moving the business into a new state of the art factory and then creating one of the most efficient, modern specialist wide format printers in the UK. Even now I am running a 6-figure investment initiative to create a leading MIS system, I cannot wait to be involved in our 2024 expansion plans.”
FaberExposize UK is the new trading name of Northern Flags Ltd.
A name change to recognise the company’s move to far more than flags and far beyond its North of England base. The company still produces flags which account for 15% of its output in Leeds but now produces a full range of point-of-sale, Event and Exhibition print from its modern state-of-the-art factory in Leeds.
Over the past 2 years, the company has grown substantially and has won numerous awards for its print, people and sustainability.
The company has been recognised within the industry for its inclusiveness with a team that unusually in print is 70% women (including those leading the Operations; Finishing, Finance and Marketing Teams) and is fully multicultural with team members from 9 different nationalities.
FaberExposize UK is also a leader in bringing young people into print – with 4 team members recognised as ‘Rising Stars’ by the Printing Charity and the winner of ‘Rising Star’ at the UK Graphic Awards.
