C Results Print and Display of Western Australia has moved to bolster its commercial capacity, welcoming a brand new HP Latex 1500 to the lineup housed within the company’s Malaga facility.

The new 1500 brings increased throughput together with superwide latex printing, further cementing the company’s ability to continually deliver projects on budget, and on time.

C Results has been a long-time advocate for the industry leading printing results and technological innovations brought about by HP.

The company acquired a HP 560 and 570 in 2018, followed by the ultra large format latex HP R1000 in 2021.

The latest HP Latex 1500 now rounds out the Malaga factory, which also houses a ZUND cutter, and a range of vinyl finishing equipment.

Latex Ink Technology Brings Waterproof, Scratchproof Finishing To A Wide Range Of Substrates

Like the HP R1000, the 1500 uses the latest in latex ink technology from HP, a heat-fusing water based ink that allows C Results to print on a wide range of un-coated base materials.

Because latex inks are fused to the base material, the finished print is waterproof and robust against scratches - perfect for a wide range of outdoor uses.

The 1500 can print up to 3.2 m (126 in) roll width on a single roll, or be configured in a dual roll option for simultaneous printing.

Matt Cahill is optimistic about the improvements the 1500 brings to the business. “2023 is already shaping up to be another year of growth - the increased throughput the machine offers allows us to improve our workload scheduling, which in turn improves our customer service, and allows faster turnaround for those occasions where urgency is paramount. Being another HP our staff are already full bottle on the operation, and with a swift install and commissioning by Spandex Australia, we’ve had it up and running in next to no time.C Results clients will already be familiar with the quality and diversity of printing we can achieve with the R1000 - this machine has been critical to our growth as a commercial printer over the last few years. The HP Latex 1500 continues this trend of high quality and flexibility, and with it we look forward to further meeting and exceeding our client’s expectations of commercial printing.”
