The British Textile Consortium is a group of UK manufacturers working together to provide the essential personal protective equipment (PPE) needed during the Covid 19 pandemic.
The UK textile industry is made up of 1000s of small and micro businesses. By coming together as one united supply chain we can provide a local manufacturing solution to the PPE shortage currently facing our NHS staff and key workers.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) manufacture needs factories that can produce, finish and cut fabric, construct gowns, scrubs, face shields and surgical masks. We have the skills in the UK to do this and we are working together to make this happen.
This a national effort to rally the troops and win the war against Covid 19!
