It was 35 years ago, when Siegfried Barbieri founded his own company with the mission to develop and produce color measuring equipment for the photographic market.

And it is 20 years ago when his two sons Stefan and Markus took over the company and made it a market leader for color measurement solutions in wide and large format, flatbed and industrial digital printing markets.

The mission became reality: Barbieri's customers differ from their competitors in that they achieve the very best image quality and so become high performers themselves.

“We are committed to continue this success story. With the new Spectro LFP qb Textile Edition we have a worldwide unique solution for automatic color measuring in digital dye-sublimation and direct-to-garment printing. With this product we enter the fast-growing Digital Textile printing market with the experience and excellence our customers demand” says Stefan Barbieri, CEO of the company.

The ground-breaking Spectro LFP qb Textile Edition is the worldwide unique solution for automatic colour measuring in digital dye-sublimation and direct-to-garment printing.

It is based on the Spectro LFP qb and has dedicated software and accessories who makes it possible to measure fully automatically and with highest precision and repeatability any kind of textiles and fabrics.

The special holder fixes the textile firmly, the camera and according software detects the center of each patch to be measured and the measurements will be done fully automatically – even if the chart is distorted!

The measurement head can be detached for manual spot measurements and results sent  to the computer. Two devices in one and automatic and spot measurements done with the same device which leads to a maximum accuracy.

“Our customers are companies who are dependent on top-quality color for their digitally printed products. With our intelligent color measuring technology, they have the tools to achieve this” says Markus Barbieri, CTO of the company.
