Frankfurt am Main, June 26, 2024 – The highly anticipated Heimtextil 2025 is set to be even bigger, more international, and of higher quality than before.

The Carpets & Rugs product group, a successful staple of the event, is poised for significant growth.

With twice as many exhibitors and an additional hall level, Heimtextil 2025 promises to be a must-attend event for the global carpet industry, showcasing strong brands, exciting new products, and innovative content formats.

Carpets & Rugs on a Growth Trajectory

The Carpets & Rugs segment at Heimtextil 2025 is already recording an enormous increase in exhibitors, with more than twice as many companies registered compared to the previous year.

"We are very pleased with this market signal, reflecting the industry's need for a robust, international, and central carpet platform," says Bettina Bär, Director of Heimtextil. "Heimtextil in Frankfurt offers a comprehensive market overview and a bundled product range of the highest quality."

In response to market feedback, the segment will expand by an entire hall level in 2025.

The additional Hall 5.0 will feature high-quality hand-woven carpets and international country pavilions.

Hall 5.1 will continue to house the growing segment of machine-woven carpets, pre-production offers with fibers and yarns, and technologies specific to the carpet industry. This diverse range also includes hand-knotted carpets, doormats, clean-off systems, and textile solutions for outdoor areas and contract businesses.

Notably, a new carpet area is being planned in collaboration with Ragolle Rugs and the Belgian association Fedustria, featuring a high-quality joint presentation.

Strong Industry Resonance

Numerous renowned companies have already confirmed their participation at Heimtextil 2025, including Bhadohi Carpets (India), Balta Home (Belgium), and Kaleen Lifestyle (India). Returning exhibitors and new participants like Lalee OHG (Germany), Heritage Overseas (India), Oriental Weavers Group (Egypt), Ragolle Rugs (Belgium), Rugs in Style (India), The Rug Republic (India), Tufko International (India), Universal XXI (Spain), and Vini Décor (India) will also showcase their products. Within the Decoteam, Infloor-Girloon (Germany) and Paulig (Germany) will present unique hand-woven products. Additionally, the Belgian association Fedustria and, for the first time, the Tunisian association Office National de L’Artisanat will display their high-quality carpets.

The successful establishment of the Carpets & Rugs segment reinforces Heimtextil's role as a global industry meeting point and showcase for trends, collections, and products.

"Our first participation in this year's Heimtextil was a success," says Yasmine Khamis, Chairwoman of Oriental Weavers Group. "Heimtextil represents a destination for textile innovations, trends, sustainable impulses, and unique business opportunities. We look forward to participating again in 2025."

Industry Endorsements

Mittal International emphasizes the collective industry presence in the Carpets & Rugs segment and highlights Frankfurt as a key location for the carpet industry. "We appreciate Messe Frankfurt's initiative in launching the Carpets & Rugs segment. The concept met the industry's needs, leading to a successful start with a good influx of customers and orders from the USA and Mexico," states Manmohan Sharma, Founding Partner of Mittal International. "We are expanding our stand space in Frankfurt for 2025 and look forward to continuing to shape this new product area."

Current Trends and Customized Content

The expanded hall level will offer not only a broader range of exhibitor presentations and product innovations but also an extensive content program.

Heimtextil 2025 will feature business-promoting specialist presentations, stimulating panel discussions, and insightful guided tours, further positioning itself as a valuable knowledge platform for the carpet industry.

The popular Carpet Lounge in the foyer of Halls 5.1/6.1 will once again showcase unique designs and new carpet trends, inviting visitors to linger and network.

Heimtextil 2025 will take place from January 14 to 17, 2025.
