Throughout history, Pakistan has been a production hub for textiles and textile products, including clothing, home decorations, and more.

Not only is the country a big consumer of textiles, but it is also geographically able to provide high-quality textiles for high-end Western brands.

EFI Reggiani, headquartered in Bergamo, Italy, which celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2021, has long been an equipment supplier to Pakistani textile manufacturers.

EFI Reggiani, along with their local agency Company Acmatex, is looking forward to a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship in the country as more industrial textile manufacturers see the benefits of adopting digital textile printing, the textile printing technology of the future

Acmatex Corporation (Pvt.) Limited was incorporated by Mr. Yusuf Rehmani in 1966 represents EFI Reggiani’s complete range of printing technology including digital printing machines in Pakistan.

In fact, Acmatex was one of the first few agencies to introduce these revolutionary digital printing machines in Pakistan.

As MR Rehmani said “Over the decades, Acmatex has grown, evolved, experienced the manyups and downs of the industry, but our one constant has been our long-standing and outstanding relationships such as with EFI Reggiani. Looking into the future, we are excited to continue our tradition of helping our customers to acquire state-of-the-art technology as
needed for the growth and progress of our textile industry and our country. I am optimistic that with an expansion of the right technology and extensive international marketing, our industry will go further in the long term and we look forward to building that future together”

In fact, the first Reggiani printer in Pakistan was installed in 1972! EFI Reggiani's work in Pakistan highlights the long-standing support and cooperation in textiles between Italian and Pakistani companies.

More than 300 Reggiani printers have been installed in 100 companies in Pakistan, and EFI Reggiani's Pakistani customers have used over 2.5 million tons of EFI Reggiani ink.

Digitalization remains a strong and growing market in the country, with many businesses using more than one EFI Reggiani digital printer.

As an innovative textile community, Pakistan's major producers are also quick to adopt the latest digital technologies. This not only improves their competitive positioning, but also opens the door to new types of products and services they offer.

Most notably, three Reggiani's latest high-volume digital textile printers were installed nationwide.

The three EFI Reggiani BOLT single-pass printers operating in Pakistan can print complex, high-quality fabric patterns at speeds of up to 90 linear meters per minute.

Pakistani users have printed nearly 70 million meters of fabric with EFI Reggiani BOLT printers.

Pakistan is also becoming a market for the new EFI Reggiani HYPER, the world's highest-volume multi-pass industrial textile printer.

Two HYPER printers, which were only launched in September 2021, have already been sold to Pakistan.

The printer can produce 20 linear meters per minute, and the 3.4-meter size makes it ideal for producing textiles, from clothing to accessories.

In the overall textile market, digital textile printing accounts for approximately 10% of all printed textiles, according to multiple sources that track the market.

And this percentage continues to grow, especially in a country like Pakistan with a large textile manufacturing industry.

It provides an opportunity for new businesses to enter the textile market to breathe new life into the industrial textile printing business in a digital-first manner and as a complementary solution to analog rotary screen printing.

EFI Reggiani is proud of its long-standing relationship with Pakistani industrial textile producers and encouraged by the rapid adoption of more sustainable digital technologies by many companies.
