Artsthread Promote The Nasdaq 2021 Artwork Competition

In celebration of their new Global Headquarters in Times Square, NY, Nasdaq, working with Artsthread, is launching a competition to create artwork that embodies their purpose as an organization.
Nasdaq is championing a new era of inclusive prosperity and shared growth.
They believe that greatness can come from anywhere, and by creating a comprehensive market ecosystem, they enable companies of all sizes, economies at all stages, and people of all backgrounds to reach their full potential.
Art pieces will be chosen, printed and displayed in Nasdaq's brand-new global headquarters in Times Square, New York City. Adjacent to the work will be a description, and information about the artist.
The three winners of the competition will receive $1,000 from Nasdaq

THE BRIEF
Entrants should choose from one of four messaging themes listed below and express and interpret this theme visually:
- Opening up access to opportunity
- Technology should break down barriers
- Partnership can unlock growth
- Greater participation = greater prosperityPlease create and upload 1 or 2 images of artwork that responds to one of Nasdaq's four messaging themes.
The images can be any manner of 2D pattern, from fine art and illustration to graphic design and photographic collage.
The artwork can be portrait or landscape.
(If you are creating the work digitally, we suggest creating as a vector file, such as in Abode Illustrator. To upload onto Arts Thread please export the image as a .PNG or .JPG file at approx 3000 pixels wide.)While there are no restrictions regarding materials or color, we've included our brand color palette for reference. The winners will be asked to submit their artwork as a high resolution PDF format.
THE PRIZE
The three winners of the competition will receive $1,000 from Nasdaq
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Open to anyone studying art and design or has graduated from art and design higher education from 2018 onwards.
Entrants must be over 18 years old.
Open globally with the exception of residents of The Balkans, Belarus, Burundi, Central African Republic, Congo, Dem. Rep. of, Crimea region of Ukraine, Cuba, Iran, Lebanon, Libya, North Korea, Russia, Ukraine, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan Syria, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER SUBMISSION
Once submitted in phase one, the designs will be evaluated by our expert judging panel to establish the winning designers.
