lululemon and ARTS THREAD Launch Global Design Challenge for Emerging Talent

London November 2025 – ARTS THREAD, in collaboration with the global athletic apparel company lululemon, today announced the launch of the "Apparel & Accessories Design Challenge: Life in Motion".

This new initiative invites emerging designers to create versatile apparel that supports a dynamic, modern lifestyle, seamlessly transitioning from athletic activities to work and social environments.

The challenge is designed to discover and champion the next generation of design talent. Participants are encouraged to submit innovative designs that reflect the realities of daily life, where movement and adaptability are key.

This competition offers a significant opportunity for young designers to gain exposure and connect with a leading brand in the activewear industry.

Winners of the challenge will receive a $500 lululemon gift card and, crucially, will be considered for full-time Design Assistant positions based at lululemon's headquarters in Vancouver.

The company has confirmed that relocation assistance will be provided for eligible candidates, underscoring its commitment to nurturing global talent.

ARTS THREAD stated, "We are thrilled to partner with lululemon on a challenge that so closely aligns with the needs of contemporary life. This is a unique chance for young designers to showcase their creativity and forward-thinking concepts on a global stage and potentially launch their careers with an iconic brand."

The competition is open to individuals worldwide who are over 18 years of age and are either currently enrolled in a higher education program or have graduated within the last year (2024 and 2025 graduates).

This inclusive approach ensures that a broad spectrum of new talent has the opportunity to participate.

The submission deadline for all entries is January 16, 2026.
