An Open Call For The Fashion Designers Of The Future From The FASHIONCLASH Festival In Maastricht
FASHIONCLASH Festival is all about discovering, stimulating and co-shaping the current developments in fashion and unlocking these developments to a wide audience. The festival takes place 25-27 November 2022 in Maastricht.
FASHIONCLASH Festival functions as a platform for designers, as well as a cultural manifestation where the role of fashion in the context of society is questioned and fashion is used to raise awareness.
Using the art of fashion design, we dissect the changing awareness around our relationship with our environment and urgent issues to create new narratives and approaches around the subject of fashion.
The program reflects the spirit of the world through the art of fashion; an eclectic clash of visions, stories and styles from an outspoken and avant-garde new generation of designers.
Participants of the festival belong to a generation of designers and artists who explore and question the boundaries of their discipline.
With their works they move between the transdisciplinary domains of fashion, social design and visual arts.
In the footsteps of the last edition of FASHIONCLASH Festival, the upcoming edition of FASHIONCLASH Festival 2022 will be a hybrid edition, a combination of both physical and digital events.
In the past two editions, FASHIONCLASH experienced many benefits working with digital media and sees experimenting with digitalization as the future.
