[JOBS] JUNIOR PRINT DESIGNER : PATTERN ASSEMBLY

Bristol, June 2026  – Pattern Assembly, an established textile design studio serving leading fashion and interior brands, has announced an immediate opening for a Junior Print Designer.

The hybrid role, based at the studio's Central Bristol office, offers a flexible working arrangement of three to four days per week on a permanent contract.

The position is tailored for an experienced print designer with a minimum of three years' commercial experience, offering a competitive salary of between £24,000 and £36,000 per annum.

The successful candidate will become an integral part of Pattern Assembly's creative team, contributing to the delivery of commercially driven printed textile designs for the studio's fashion and home brand clients.

The Junior Print Designer will be responsible for creating original, trend-led prints using a combination of hand-drawing and CAD techniques, with a particular focus on florals and a feminine commercial aesthetic.

The role also encompasses trend research, file preparation, artworking, and the creation of detailed specification documents for print production.

Candidates are expected to demonstrate advanced proficiency across the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, alongside a keen eye for commercial colour across both fashion and interior markets.

A degree-level qualification in Fashion or Textiles is preferred, and prior experience in Ladies Nightwear is considered advantageous.
