Epson Selected For Inclusion In The FTSE4Good Index Series For The 21st Consecutive Year

TOKYO, Japan, June, 2024 - Seiko Epson Corporation (TSE: 6724, "Epson") was selected for inclusion in the FTSE4Good Index Series designed by FTSE Russell, a London Stock Exchange Group company.

This marks the 21st consecutive year that Epson has been selected.

Epson aspires to achieve sustainability and enrich communities over the long term.

The company sees its inclusion in this index as objective evidence that its efforts to address environmental and social issues have been recognized, and that it is seen as a sustainable company.

The FTSE4Good Index Series was created by global index provider FTSE Russell and is designed to measure the performance of companies that demonstrate strong environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices.

The FTSE4Good Index Series is widely used to create and evaluate sustainable investment funds and other financial products.

Epson has also been selected for inclusion in the FTSE Blossom Japan Index, FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, MSCI Nihonkabu ESG Select Leaders Index, MSCI Japan Empowering Women Index (WIN), S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index, and the Morningstar Japan ex-REIT Gender Diversity Tilt Index.

These are ESG investor indexes comprised of Japanese stocks that are used by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF).
