Closer To Customers ─ Trützschler Card Clothing Expands Service Network In Peru, Colombia And Ecuador

Mönchengladbach - Germany – October 2026 – Trützschler Card Clothing (TCC) has expanded its regional service network across Peru, Colombia and Ecuador, giving customers in the Andean region direct access to faster support, shorter lead times and local technical expertise.

The move underscores Trützschler's long-term commitment to the textile and nonwovens industries of South America, strengthening its presence in markets where quality and productivity remain top priorities.

The expansion responds to the specific needs of a region with a deep textile heritage. Peru, home to one of South America's most established spinning sectors, is renowned for its Pima and Tangüis cotton production.

In Colombia and Ecuador, spinning and nonwovens manufacturers continue to invest in improving quality and efficiency.

By building a stronger local footprint, TCC is positioned to respond to customer needs with greater speed and precision.

Professional card clothing service is essential to sustaining high carding performance. Precise mounting, optimised machine settings and expert troubleshooting all help mills extend clothing lifetime, maintain stable product quality and run efficient, sustainable production lines.

To deliver this support where it matters most, TCC has formed workshop partnerships with long-standing customers in each of the three countries, establishing local service centres that offer card clothing mounting and installation, services for flat tops and licker-in wires, specification and machine setting support for Trützschler and non-Trützschler cards, troubleshooting and technical consulting, and wire services for nonwoven cards of all major brands – all delivered in Spanish, directly on-site.

These regional teams are backed by the full depth of expertise at Trützschler Card Clothing's headquarters in Germany, ensuring local specialists remain connected to the company's global spinning and carding know-how.

“Our goal is to make our expertise available as close as possible to our customers' operations,” said Thomas Streicher, Regional Sales Manager for Latin America. “With the expanded service network, we can provide faster support while maintaining the high service standards Trützschler Card Clothing is known for.”

In Peru, the largest of the three markets, TCC has partnered with Tejidos Jorgito, which provides workshop facilities that serve as a regional service hub.

Tejidos Jorgito operates 15 state-of-the-art TC 19i cards alongside several other Trützschler carding machines, and employs around 700 skilled professionals across its open-end, ring-spinning and vortex-spinning operations.

The company produces premium-quality yarns from Ne 6/1 to Ne 50/1, serving both domestic and export markets including Bolivia, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, Chile and the United States.

Following comprehensive machine training, Tejidos Jorgito technicians Abraham Cardenas and Ricardo Armas are now successfully operating the equipment at the company's facility.

Similar partnerships have been established in Quito, Ecuador, and Medellín, Colombia – two of the region's most important textile hubs – extending local service and technical support throughout the Andean region.

This expanded network reflects Trützschler Card Clothing's continued investment in customer proximity, enabling closer collaboration and faster implementation of optimisation measures.

It supports mills in achieving sustainable, long-term improvements in quality, efficiency and operational performance across the Andean region.
