The digital revolution in the fashion industry is changing the way clothes are designed, created, sold and used.

The Fabricant are proud to participate with The Digital Fashion Group and their fellow creators on their industry-wide initiative #makingstrides design competition, helping to nurture a future talent pool for the digital fashion industry to ensure its success and resilience.

Huge congratulations to all of the 3D creators that have been selected, and a sincere thank you to every single artist that submitted.

The Fabricant were blown away by the diverse, creative and unique responses to the challenge.

They have debated, admired, supported, dissected and discussed all of their motivations for choosing each of the concepts.

They believe in every one of them.

They feel the final twenty creations represent the intentions behind the #makingstrides competition, which is an initiative to elevate and enable women in tech through the vast creative potential of the 3D digital fashion world.

There was no gender bar to participation, as we believe everyone is an ally to the cause of realising an equal and representative tech space.

The fabricant operate at the intersection of fashion and technology fabricating digital couture and fashion experiences.

Always digital, never physical.

They truly believe that digital fashion will change the industry in a rapid way.

The Fabricant is the world’s first digital fashion house, making innovative and compelling 3D garments and fashion narratives that are entirely non-physical.

Among their founding principles is the belief that fashion should waste nothing but data and exploit nothing but the imagination.

Through their work they harness the power of the digital realm to build an inspiring and collaborative fashion future that operates beyond physical boundaries.

They are committed to the creation of a new fashion perspective that revolutionises industry systems, and makes self expression through digital clothing a sustainable way to explore personal identity.
