November 21, 2019 – Printful, the print-on-demand drop shipping company, has released research that shows that 90% of online sellers make use of Black Friday & Cyber Monday to increase their sales.

The most popular deals during Cyber Five are discounts and free shipping, offered by 81% and 39% of online sellers, respectively.

With as much as 40% of all holiday shopping happening during Cyber weekend, as estimated by Salesforce, it's no surprise that online sellers try to use this time to its full potential. 70% of respondents surveyed by Printful say they run deals throughout Cyber Five, and nearly 50% of sellers start to advertise their promotions a week or more in advance.

Most sellers observe similar sales results on both Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

However, 40% say that one of these days performs better than the other, and 55% of the time it's Cyber Monday.

This supports data by Deloitte that shows that 53% of buyers rely on Cyber Monday for discounts, while 44% shop on Black Friday.

These findings come from a survey Printful conducted in December 2018, which involved 274 respondents who sell print-on-demand products online via Printful.

Every year, Printful sees a significant increase from Black Friday and Cyber Monday on sales.

This correlates with Adobe's prediction, which states that online sales in the US alone will increase by 14.1% in 2019, totaling $143.7 billion.

Printful's CEO, Davis Siksnans comments: “Cyber Five is not only important for Printful, but also for our customers. This is their biggest sales time of the year, and we prepare well in advance to support them during this time. Every year, we hire seasonal staff, upgrade and invest in new equipment, and keep more of our popular products in stock.”
