“I’m excited to share that I’m beginning the next chapter of my career as Corel’s new Chief Marketing Officer. Without question, Corel is undergoing a time of transformation and I’m energized not only by the opportunities ahead for me, but also for the great things that are on the way for our customers and partners.”

“As I considered this role, there were two things that left me immediately impressed: a stellar leadership team, headed by a new CEO, Christa Quarles, whose approachable style and passion for customer experience is palpable; and an incredible portfolio of products that help people work better and smarter, so they can live their best lives.”

Then, digging in, I kept finding more hidden gems.

Millions of knowledge workers who love and stand behind Corel products.

A rare, customer-first mindset that puts people at the center of every discussion and decision.

And finally, a company that’s starting a new chapter of growth that values change and is focused on delivering business outcomes and prioritizing innovation.

Corel is building a remarkable story and it quickly struck me that I wanted to be part of the team to help shape it and share it with the world.

I relish the opportunity to help Corel build the narrative around some of the world’s most well-known software brands, used by an impressive 47% of the Fortune 100!

It’s impossible not to be inspired by CorelDRAW, the legendary graphics suite that empowers users in businesses of all sizes – from individual designers to marketers in huge corporations – to unleash their spark and create designs that connect with people and draw them in.

I’m awed by the way Parallels solutions enable employees and students alike to access critical applications and files remotely on any device, boosting productivity and better grades.

And when it comes to helping teams leverage their collective brainpower, connect and engage, MindManager takes visualizing ideas to a whole new level.

No matter which Corel product you look at, there’s a common theme – unleashing human potential. These products make connections with heart. And frankly, the richness of these stories is a marketer’s dream.

25+ years in the tech industry have shown me how important it is for a company to understand the critical role marketing plays in driving growth. And I personally know that my satisfaction comes from working with products I believe in and being part of an inclusive team that values the role each member plays in driving success.

Corel’s culture is built with these concepts as its foundation. Its people stand for transparency and doing what’s right for the business. They’re constantly asking, “how can we do it better.” I feel at home here because we share the same values.

To my new colleagues, thank you for the warm welcome and enthusiasm coming from every corner of the company. I look forward to sharing my experiences and getting the opportunity to learn from all of you on this world-class team.

“To our customers and partners, I can’t wait to exceed your expectations and ultimately add not only to your productivity, but also your happiness.”
