Heimtextil 2027 Expands Bed, Bath & Living Offering with New 'Comfort & Connect' Area

Frankfurt, Germany – August 2026 – Heimtextil, the world's leading international trade fair for home and contract textiles, has announced the launch of 'Comfort & Connect', a new dedicated area for high-quality bed, bath and lifestyle collections.

Located in the foyer of Hall 5.1, the space will serve as a central meeting point for established brands, returning exhibitors and international buyers.

The new area marks the second targeted expansion of Heimtextil's Bed, Bath & Living offering, following the success of the 'Sleep & Meet' format.

It has already secured commitments from a strong roster of exhibitors, including Auskin Europe, Essenza Home, Formesse, Hermann Biederlack, Ibena Textilwerke, Sprügel Hometex, Stuco and Zoeppritz — several of which are returning to Heimtextil after a significant break from exhibiting.

Margit Herberth, Director of Heimtextil, said: "With 'Comfort & Connect', we are creating a compact offering with short distances for our target groups. The demand confirms that, particularly in economically challenging times, the industry values an internationally oriented platform with a clear focus. Exhibitors benefit from high visibility, buyers from direct access to these suppliers — and we look forward to continuing to grow together with the industry."

'Comfort & Connect' is aimed at specialist retailers — particularly bedding retailers — as well as decision-makers from the hospitality and contract furnishing sectors.

The product range encompasses bed and bath textiles, decorative cushions and home accessories.

Its central location in the foyer of Hall 5.1 provides straightforward access to the broader Bed, Bath & Living sections in Halls 5.0 and 5.1, as well as Smart Bedding in Hall 4.0.

In the adjacent Hall 4.0, Heimtextil is also bringing back its 'Sleep & Meet' area in partnership with the trade association Matratzen-Industrie e. V.

The area will spotlight the Smart Bedding product group, with confirmed participants including Auping Germany, Bettwaren Stendebach, Dormiente, the EuroComfort Group, f.a.n. frankenstolz, Hüsler Nest, Paar Matratzenfabrik and Schwarzwald Schlafsysteme. Together, 'Comfort & Connect' and 'Sleep & Meet' form a cohesive ecosystem addressing the full breadth of sleep comfort and living solutions.

The two complementary areas reinforce Heimtextil's position as the definitive international platform for the home textiles industry, offering exhibitors unparalleled visibility and buyers direct access to leading suppliers — all under one roof.
