Capable of handling 3.2-metre-wide materials, the table allows the company to utilise the full width of its existing super-wide hybrid printers, effectively eliminating previous operational constraints.
Furthermore, the inclusion of an automatic tool changer, standard creasing wheels, and powerful milling capabilities allows for the seamless processing of diverse materials, including large aluminium composite sheets and folded Correx wraps.
Founder and Managing Director Dave McDonald emphasised the transformative impact of the technology on their operations. “If you make a list of all the major cutting tables, most people will put certain brands at the top as the pinnacle – the Ferraris of the market. What the JWEI does is give you that kind of top-notch performance but at a more accessible price point,” said McDonald. “We’d been able to print at 3.2 m wide in-house for some time, but we were restricting ourselves. Now we can cut big sheets all day long. The capacity bottleneck is gone.”
By automating the finishing of large, single-piece drops of PVC-free Gecko wallpaper, the company actively minimises human error and reduces material waste.
