Wallpapers have become an absolute lifestyle product combining high quality designs and a natural look and feel.

When Durst supplied their Apha 330 wallpaper edition to Hohenberger of  Upper Franconia in Germany it created a new horizon for the 90 year old wallcovering manufacturer.

With impeccable environmental credentials the Durst 330 immediately became the focus of a Hohenberger’s new high speed, on-demand sustainable wallcovering offering and created a symbiosis with traditional printing processes.

Sustainable, PVC-, solvent- and plasticizer-free wallpapers for a healthy living environment can be easily produced with the Durst Alpha Series and the corresponding aqueous Durst Pigment Inks.

All Durst software can be modularly extended and managed with a web-based user interface.

About Hohenberger

When Paul Taubert started making fine wall coverings in Hohenberg almost 90 years ago, most things were done by hand.

Today, the small business has grown somewhat, and now state-of-the-art machines assist us in the producing our wallpapers.

But we have remained true to the principle of handmade manufacture. Because we love what we do.

We love making top-quality wallpapers. Individually and sustainably.

A lot is still done by hand and with great attention to detail.

Today, wallpapers from Hohenberger adorn the walls of castles and museums, bars and lounges, hotels and offices, shops and flats.

Not just in Germany, but all over the world.

Even today, our wallpapers are still produced exclusively in Hohenberg an der Eger by a team of 40 highly motivated craftsmen.

Lovingly handcrafted, assisted by precision machines that have been adapted to our customers' special requirements - making them unique worldwide.

Wallpapers from Hohenberg are produced - exclusively in Germany - in a very sustainable manner and are free of PVC, plasticisers and solvents.
